Abnormal Psychology

Has anyone taken this exam through Excelsior. If so, did you order the online practice exam they offer or did you just use the IC study material? How did you do on the exam? Any surprises?

I did not purchase the practice exams. I just studied the IC flashcards, looked up some terms on google for the difference of similar conditions that I was not clear on, took the chapter tests from the recommended book for the course that is offered free online, and put in about 50 hours of study time. I ended up with an A!

I did not feel overwhelmed when I took the test, and did not feel there was any surprises. I was well prepared.

I saved some of the links that I used:

Personality Disorder Charts

Kring, Davison, Neale, Johnson: Abnormal Psychology, 10th Edition - Instructor Companion Site

Abnormal Psychology : SparkCharts

I did take the study guide from excelsior to do the free practice exam and reviewed the content on the exam and made sure I knew it all.

Hope this helps.
