A question about Education
#1
Has anybody heard of using one of the big three schools to obtain a degree to use towards a degree in education. For example a High school English teacher. So far Cinderly has been very helpful in giving me information. I was just wondering if anybody has heard of this. Or am I a pioneer in this path of trying to get credit for a teaching degree through one of the big three? It has been a dream of mine for awhile to teach. And of all the different career paths. I have just had this itch and I have tried to forget about it, lock it away and forget about it. But I just want to teach. I just don't want to do it a traditional way. I don't believe I should have too. I have never been what it is a so called traditional student. This is what I believe is a pioneer. Education should not be institutionalized where I should have to do my degree entirely through a brick and mortar university. I am not doing this for the money ( Money is useful). I just want to find purpose in life. I have always been somewhat of a selfish but good natured person. And teaching would be a good way to express my selflessness. Sorry about all the babble. If anybody has heard of gaining a teaching degree through alternative means please post on this forum.

No clue about teaching requirments.

That being said. Charter Oak does have a concentraion in Child Study that appears to be geared towards education. Charter Oak will also accept FEMA credits, though in a slightly more complicated fashion than Thomas Edison (but still really cheap).
