Greetings,
I'm looking at a second degree, an ASBA, and wanted to get some feedback on a degree plan. I already have quite a few of the requirements, which I picked up working on the reqs for a math degree, but I'm open to suggestions on optimization/easiest path as well.
I. General Education
A. English Composition (6credits) - SL Eng Comp 1 & SL Eng Comp 2
B. Humanities (6 credits) - DSST Art of Western World & DSST World Religions
C. Social Sciences (9 credits) - SL Macroecon, CLEP American Gov, & CLEP Intro Psych
D. Natural Sciences & Math (6 credits) - ALEKS Pre-Calc & SL Chem w/Lab
E. General Ed Electives (3 credits) - ALEKS Stats
II. Management Core
A. Principles of Financial Accounting - SL Accounting 1
B. Principles of Managerial Accounting - SL Accounting 2
C. Legal Environment for Business - CLEP Business Law
D. Principles of Management - CLEP Principles of Management
E. Principles of Marketing - CLEP Principles of Marketing
F. Introduction to Computers - DSST Intro to Computing
III. Business Electives (6 credits) - SL Microeconomics & DSST Principles of Supervision
IV. Free Electives (6 credits) - SL Calculus 1 & BYU Public Speaking
My only major concern on the degree is that the SL Microecon will satisfy the Business Elective section, given the TESC handbook and that handy TESC CBE Equivalencies PDF, everything else I think is koshur.
Thanks in advance!
