I don't know about CLEP but DSST exams are now transcribed via Parchment. TESU accepts Parchment, per their website, however, I don't know if they (TESU) have a certain requirements concerning DSST transcripts. I'll know more soon since I just applied to TESU over weekend.

Or if CREDLY has an email we can send transcripts to that is a major hangup. I cannot find JST or CLEP in their list to add then CLEP will use a physical address to send to. Do they want JST to send a paper transcript? I had to do that when I originally added credits to ACE. I can't use the DC address for ACE now.
Major point is sending CLEP etc not cost. Credly is now taking responsibility to certify that military training and CLEP and DSST are college credit worthy. Of course I can send a CLEP transcript to a college but where can they see it is still ACE certified? They have to get badges on CREDLY and Collegeboard cannot certify itself as being equal to a college level course recommended for UL or LL credit.
Credly does not certify that anything is college credit - ACE is still the company that evaluates credit and determines if it's college-credit worthy or not; and then schools can choose to do with that what they will. Also, schools can just go to the ACE National Guide to see what ACE says about a course/exam.
The main reason that CLEP & DSST aren't needed on an ACE transcript is that they've been around so long, they don't need to show that they're ACE-recommended; they are known quantities. Many schools will take CLEP or DSST but not other ACE credit, and if they do, they've already decided how to award credit for those exams. BTW, this is also why AP Exams also don't need to be put on an ACE transcript - they originally started as ACE-recommended for credit, but have become their own thing. At this point, many of the exams aren't even ACE-recommended for credit, and yet most schools will happily give credit for AP, have policies, have written articulation agreements, etc. Just as an example, The A English: Language & Composition exam stopped being ACE-recommended for credit; and yet schools still take this, as it's THE most popular exam, with something like 800k students taking it each year. Students take 5 million AP exams each year, and most have never even heard of ACE.
Last, I've seen JST exams - and they specifically say on them what's ACE-recommended, and how many credits each "course" is worth, and whether it's UL or LL. So again, you don't need an ACE (or Credly) transcript to do this; and they're free to send.

Good news. Just received this email from TEEX:
"We are currently working with the American Council on Education (ACE) to transition our approved courses to the new Credly platform. This could take several weeks to complete. We appreciate your patience as we complete this process. Please continue to check the Credly website for your courses.
Respectfully,
Dr. X X"

Thanks raycathode for letting us know about TEEX. That would add to my StraighterLine/Study.com/Sophia.org... Hmm, so, I am getting my Sophia.org slowly added to my Acclaim/Credly badge system, the only thing missing are the ones that won't go through... which really won't affect me much like the Kaplan PLA, Institutes, the 3 Shmoop History courses I've taken for elective credit, and a few other cheapies or freebies.
Oh dear, I can't remember what's in my ACE, as they never sent me my final "transcript", they only sent it to TESU. Anyone know if Penn Foster is going to the Badge system? I haven't gotten those 3 courses yet either, dang... the horror of an upgrade to the system... we just have to wait until they fix the kinks... daunting but it'll hopefully be soon...

Penn Foster is adding them. I called an talked to their admissions staff and they asked around for me. About 3 days later all my courses were added.

I don't quite understand what do you mean by "Hmm, so, I am getting my Sophia.org slowly added to my Acclaim/Credly badge system".

@royisagirl That's great! Do I have to click anything or accept anything in my email to move it over? Or do I have to call/email them to move them over from Penn Foster to Acclaim/Credly. I'll just call/email them to be on the safe side, is there someone specific we speak with?
@doom Yeah, I still have unfinished courses at Sophia.org, I can't add them until I finish the course. It'll have to go one at a time I guess after I finish each of my remaining ones. I was just going to do some courses that don't duplicate my existing ones with Study.com/StraighterLine.

They did the legwork and about 2 or 3 days I got an email from cedily telling me to verify my badges. Bare in mind that they had no clue was I was talking about a first.

I just wanted to let everyone know to just request (via chat) on Sophia that 'prior to November classes' be added to Credly. They said they would do it manually and it would be done in a few business days. On another note, the chat feature wasn't available on my laptop (I'm sure due to my security settings) but was on my phone. Took all of 2 minutes.
