We recently received an official transcript from Credly/Acclaim. Thomas Edison State University will accept in transfer most ACE reviewed courses/exams on the transcript that include both a badge from the offering organization as well as an ACE badge. Since there was no ACE badge included for the following items, credit was not added to your record. Please request an updated transcript be sent to transcripts @tesu.edu for the following:
Introduction to Information Technology
Any idea what I did wrong? It was on my Credly - how can it be on there if there isn't an ACE badge?
Oh! I see there is no ACE Endorsement. But when I go to ACE and Sophia, it says endorsed. Wonder if I have an older version or...something?
Still digging. I see this:

It also shows me a related badge named Introduction to Information Technology (CS1001)
Both from Sophia. I got the badge last month and did the class last fall. Ideas?

Did you click on the Intro to Information Technology badge on your account? At the bottom of the page should be an ACE endorsement for the course. If it's not then it wasn't eligible for credit.
Was it taken through Sophia?
Edit: I see you posted that. I'm not sure why it didn't have an ACE endorsement. Maybe someone can see why it may be?

If it doesn't have an ACE endorsement, I'd contact Sophia about that. They can sometimes accidentally issue the wrong badge or the system glitches or something.

Not only that, I'd get in contact with ACE as well, just in case their system automatically provided the incorrect badge and requires a manual override.

I don't think they can do anything - this is on Sophia's end. Plus, ever notice how unhelpful ACE is???

Hmm, that's different that what I would have thought... This is what I believe happens, Sophia.org sends a badge request with course completion details to Credly, Credly reviews the info on ACE, and ACE sends the specific details to Credly to issue a badge. Some communication issue is with ACE/Credly (not Sophia.org).
If you just contact Sophia.org, they'll keep sending the same request details to Credly... as all their courses are already ACE recommended for credit, there is not much details Sophia.org is going to send them except, the course is done and completed, there is no identifier saying it's worth ACE credit or not.
The communication issue is with ACE/Credly accepting the course with the correct badge, if you contact Sophia.org, all they can do is carbon copy the request and send that to both ACE/Credly. So, essentially, you can help them by being proactive and sending that detail to all three instead of it slowly going from one team to another.
Edit to Add: OP, you should email Sophia.org and anyone else to see what the proper fix was, I'm curious how their system gets sent specific badge requests and how it actually gets processed. I'm thinking it's still outside the hands of Sophia.org and it would need ACE/Credly to fix on their end...

Yep, emailed them and they got back quickly - they said that they "replaced the badge" and that should fix it. Interesting!

Yay for getting it corrected! Did you email Sophia and they corrected it? Or ACE?

Sophia - they reissued the badge and it updated with a new name and the ACE endorsement in Credly.

Who is "them" that you're referring to? I would guess you sent this just to Sophia.org to have fixed...
