"ACCREDITED CHEAPEST MASTERS" in the WORLD. +Online Degree
#1
Hi, I believe not just me but a lot of people surely want Masters but there are financial issues.

So I recommend few options for who has no money or time.

KOREA NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY
This University accredited by South Korean government.
Korean government decided to offer accredited education for Korean people who are working or who have financial challenges.
Basically, KNOU offers Masters degree accredited by Korean government, for only $950 per semester.
East Asia, like China, Japan, Korea

we pay tuition per semester not per credit.
So you will get Masters degree in 2-3 years, you can watch lectures through KNOU broadcasting and app. So total of $5,000 for MBA from Korean Univ.

NO TUITION POLICY GRAD SCHOOL IN KOREA.
There is a institute called Graduate School of Korean Studies, GSKS
This institute run by Korean government
They offer a lot of degrees related to Korean stuffs, like language or culture or religion.
If you are national or citizen of other countries, you will get 100% full scholarship and they even offer dorms near Gangnam.

INDIA
There are 5 Universities offer Masters degree less than $1,000 a year.

IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University)
There are 100% online Masters programs and they all accredited by Indian Government and run by Indian Gov.
like Masters Art in Peace Studies, Masters Art in English, $400 a semester and with $1600 you can get legit masters degree.

Manav Rachna University, Manipal Online, Guru Nanak Dev University
They offer you Masters Degree, one time payment less than $3,000, You will get nationally accredited Masters and also,
The Degree award for you is nothing different from On-Campus degree.

Personally, Manipal Online, You can get MBA from MAHE and MAHE is one of the most prestigious University in the World.
If you only need a degree and you don't care about the rank stuffs, Get Manipal MA in English.
$233 per semester and you will get Masters degree from Sikkim Manipal University.

MUSLIM
Check Aligarh Muslim University.
They offer education for Muslim and the degree from AMU is quite valuable. of course fee is less than $500 per semester.

Thanks.

Very interesting.

Would you have any info on a cheap degree programs in Asian unis related to either International Relations, Ethical Finance or comparative religion?

I was looking at some unis in Pakistan, India and China but they don't have the best distance learning option. I think Pakistan would be the cheapest.

First of all, Chinese Universities offer online but you may have to pay minimum of $2,000 a year.
If you consider the reputation of the degree, check Beijing Normal University, but there is Open University of China.

As you mentioned, Pakistan University may be really, really cheap.
Allama Iqbal Open University is one of those, ah....Comparative Religion, International relations, available in English too.
Last time I checked, tuition was $100 a year for "LOCALS".

Please remember that a lot of undeveloped countries ask 2 times to 10 times more from students from rich countries.

I hope this would be helpful, if you need any info about China, Korea, Japan, send me a message.
I can help you out.

In addition to these, there were a few mentioned from India, Malaysia, Philippines, etc that I've created 'country' threads, you may want to do some research and see if these entirely online programs would work for you or not. You should compile a list and see which one has the contents and subjects you're interested in, not just base the decision only on the cost (even though it will factor into your decision).

Yes that is correct. Because 90% of Korean Universities, classes will be conducted in Korean.

However, like

Graduate School of Korean Studies
Torch Trinity Graduate University in Seoul
Yonsei University International school or Global Institute of Theology

They offer 100% English classes for international students.
The point of 2024, 13 Universities in Korea offer 100% English classes and degrees,
So If you need more info, feel free to contact me.

Thanks.

BJ, Am I the only one who finds the repeated solicitations for direct messaging concerning? They feel spammy to me.

Are these even degrees worth anything if you live in the US?

If you live in a first world country, I seriously question the value of having any Korean education unless you plan to live and work in South Korea. My dad graduated from Seoul National University (Ranked #1 in South Korea) and while he was studying in the US for his PHD, he only really got recognition from other Koreans who were also working on their graduate studies. I also did 1 undergrad semester at Yonsei Underwood. Although the courses may be in English, you could get unlucky and get a Korean native professor trying to speak English. I’ve heard the master’s is a lot better but can’t confirm.

I'm only questioning the value of the degree overseas. For those who don't know, Yonsei is the #2 university in Korea and is therefore extremely (VERY VERY) difficult to get into as a Standard Korean Applicant. For context, at my standard public Korean middle school (not in Seoul), we only had one other alumni (Number 1 Academically Ranked Student in middle school, Number 3 in high school) out of 400+ in our grade get in. The native students might not be able to speak fluent English (some magically do, one classmate that never left Korea even spoke fluently with an English accent) or write anything that doesn't look formulaic, but they are literally the smartest people you will ever meet. If you go to Yonsei University and a classmate tells you “Oh, I didn’t study that much for that test,” you are legally required to slap them and scream “LIER” (In reality, you say “Yeah, me too.” and stare into their blatantly lying eyes). When I was at Underwood, the student population was 75%+ Korean with the rest being international students.
