So, no capstone is required for the AA from TESU?  Is that right?  I find that hard to believe.

TESU has a limited number of associate-level degrees that require a capstone - their AAS degrees, but not their AA/AS degrees.

COSC doesn't have a Capstone for their AA degree.

EC has capstones for all of their associate-level degrees.

There are a few Associates at TESU that do not require a Capstone and can be tested out of;

Associate in Arts (This is the General Associates)
Associate in Science in Business Administration
ASNSM in Mathematics
ASNSM in Computer Science
ASNSM in Biology (possible test out)
Amberton - MSHRB
TESU - ASNSM/BSBA

I only recommend doing an Associates if it's FREE and you're going for the Bachelors and graduating at the same time.

Yes, the TESU Associates of Applied Science Criminal Justice too has no Capstone, but at this time cannot be fully tested out.  If you have the CJ credits to transfer in then it is a good option if you're set on the Associate Degree.

With this news I would add the TESU Associates of Applied Science Criminal Justice as a possible test out as well.  Not everyone is going to go for the bachelor and I believe that almost always a specialized Associate degree is always better professionally then a general AA - but a general AA is better than no degree at all.
