A sad yet true tale
#21
I really believe that half of the college "process" is couched in learning disipline and perseverence. I think it is a giant pain in the butt to half to manuever and manipulate thes last 6 credits Iam doing battle with getting completed. But, there is a lesson and a reason to all of this and I will show the dicipline to get it done and persevere to the end. This site, the people that participate, share and most importantly care for others working towards their degree, well that's a lesson in life too!! I have not participated much in the last several months as I have been regrouping, but reading the postings of yourself, Shoto, and others has given me the impetus for one hell of a will to see this thing through. Good work..and thanks !!

You are right and I am speeding my chubby little body, bald head, and math and science "phobic" brain right in the destination of an astronomy test the week after next. Is this a great solar system or what???

Astronomy is actually a pretty straightforward exam as far as science goes. No crazy calculations or formulas (okay, maybe a couple about calculating distance of a distant body in relation to another, but it's not a big part of the exam.) You could read spark notes online on the solar system, and learn about nebulas, novas and near galaxies on wikipedia and you'll be ok. Make sure you know about stars and what they are made of.

We (humans) don't know enough about the universe to put all kinds of baffling crap on the exam. lol
