A lot of credits trying to get a quick degree!
#1
Hi everyone,

I have been lurking around here for a while off and on and I feel like I have really gotten myself all mixed up with what to do to get a degree. I know I have a lot of credits so I’m just trying to figure out the best way to get a business degree with a leaning in tech (project management). I would like to not have to take a bunch more courses elsewhere, but I can if it’s the easiest way to get something completed! I did try WGU, but I didn’t really like it. I was able to get through a lot of courses in one term, but the tests gave me anxiety and I’m more of a writer so I would like to stick to a program that leans that way.
Thank you all for your advice!

@Aehsahs, Welcome to the board, you've got the basics done already, you can complete or ladder up to the UMPI BABA concentration of your choice. You've got the Pierpont BOG AAS and already about 90 credits towards the UMPI degree, you can decide on the concentration, but should apply and get everything transferred over. Review the UMPI WIKI for some credits that can transfer and complete the basic 30 residency credits at UMPI.

I agree with bjcheung77 that UMPI is probably going to be the best option for you. Sure, you could go with TESU. But you might or might not be done by the end of 2024. With UMPI, even if you go very slowly, you should be able to do it in 3 or 4 sessions (6 or 8 months).

ding ding, "tests gave me anxiety and I’m more of a writer" is the main thing I read, UMPI is all assessments and assignments, so you'll have no exams, just writing and more writing...
