All of the Big 3 report accepting NCCRS credits...to exactly what extent I'm not sure. NCCRS is the agency that reviews courses for credit for agencies like the NYPD.

I'm curious about this too so I sent an email to TESC asking this very question. I also asked if BUS210 will satisfy the Managerial Business Communications requirement and what POLSC201 will transfer as. I'll post their response as soon as I get it. Hopefully this will prove to be a really cheap alternative for some students!

For only $25 a pop I may actually do BUS205 and POLSC201 for when I decide to finish the BSBA one day (I already have Man Bus Comm finished through SL). I don't need the latter, but for that cheap a price why not? I'm looking forward to what else Saylor will receive NCCRS approval for next year. I hope more history and business courses. Wouldn't it be great if you could finish most of a BSBA or BA in History with Saylor courses one day?

I've read the links Reb provided and read the NCCRS site. It looks like Saylor will give a letter grade on your final exam. What will TESC, ECE and COSC do - P/F or letter grade? I'm especially interested in knowing what COSC will do as that's my intended destination. Anyone have any additional info?

TESC will always give pass/fail for courses not taken at TESC.

I received a reply today from TESC to my inquiry about these courses being applicable for their BSBA program:

John,

The three courses from The Saylor Foundation would transfer to the College. In your case, however, only one can potentially apply to your degree: Business Law and Ethics.
As a social science based course, Introduction to Western Political Thought cannot be applied to your degree since there's no room for it. Additionally, Corporate Communication will duplicate a course you have already taken. With this in mind, please do not take either course.

As an applicant, I cannot place the Law course onto your degree program nor can it be formally approved. Until you enroll, you run the risk of this course transfer potentially changing.

So all 3 transfer to TESC! For the BSBA that means Saylor's BUS205: Business Law and Ethics is equivalent to TESC LAW-201 and Saylor's BUS210: Corporate Communications is equivalent to MAN-373 (Managerial/Business Communications). At least this is MY understanding from Ms. Certo's email so confirm this for yourself before you commit!
