Okay so I decide that while I'm on reserve duty I would take 3 tests, which are offered on Tuesday's and Thursday's at the base education center. After getting to the base, I study for two nights and take Human Resource Management-ECE. While at the ed center I ask if I could take two tests on Thursday. I get the ok for two tests and decide on taking World Pop (not too difficult with Weeks Book and world fact book) and Mgmt Info Systems (more difficult than I expected, quite a bit of outdated data). After leaving the testing center I walk past a clep shelf and pick up a brochure that say's clep testing is done Monday and Tuesday.... hmmm. So yesterday I took Clep-Intro to Sociology (67) and today I took Organizational Behavior-ECE (harder than I expected), Foundations of Gerontology-ECE (easier than expected) and followed those up with Intro to Psych (59). My brain is friend to the max but I think I should come out with 15 hours. So the final tally is....
ECE HRM-I believe I passed, it will be close...
ECE-WP -Fairly easy imho, especially with summarizing "Population" by Weeks.
DSST-MIS-Harder than I thought, I don't have good feelings about it....
Clep-Intro to Soc-67 Yay!
ECE-Organizational Behavior - Much harder than I expected, very borderline...
ECE-Foundations of Gerontology-Much easier than expected-confident
Clep-Intro to Psych-59 Yay!
Like I said, my brain is mush. I am cracking open a couple of cold ones tonight and watching some basketball.

Good going! Once you get rolling on these tests I think it makes a lot of sense to get as many in as you can--particularly if you're taking them somewhere you can just "walk by!" (and, if I'm not mistaken, you don't even have to pay, right?). Are you required to register for the ECE tests like us civilians, or can you just walk in and take those too? I think you should knock back a few cold ones for another day or two, then gear up for another multi-test week. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your results.

Yeah for military it's free, for both DSST as well as ECE and Clep. I need three more upper level courses to complete my degree if I pass those I took this week, we'll see!

My hats off to you, that's very impressive. I hope you pass the remainder of the tests you're still in limbo about. ECE's HRM WAS a very difficult test, my only failure, but I passed the second go around. I think I'll have a cold one for you too!

I definitely broke your second bit of advice Brian. Honestly though, If I can get out with 9-12 credits I would be happy. Not to mention the fact that I have a much greater idea whats on the tests now. I would not have approached it in this manner if their was a monetary factor, to say the least.
