Advice For a Newbie
#11
aley16 Wrote:TESC and Charter Oak accepting my D's is exciting news. That is the 1 and only time in my life I celebrated a D and I didn't want to have to go thru that again. LOL I like the idea of a Psychology Degree, but would Social Science be easier to test out of? Which enrollment plan would be best for my situation at TESC? I need 60ish credits and want to be able to use financial aid. How long does it usually take to get going with them? How would financial aid even work with me testing out of credits? I also saw that Patten had a BA in Psychology. Does anyone have info on that? I know I have lots of questions. Thanks so much for being willing to help.

If you choose TESC, then elect the Comprehensive Tuition Plan if you're going to take 24 or more credits in one year in TESC online or guided study courses. If you plan to take less, then choose the Enrolled Options Plan. Under the Enrolled Options Plan, the over $3,000 enrollment fee will eat up a lot of your financial aid.

Oh, don't forget other than the UL needed, the rest of your credits could be free FEMA at charter oak....quick and free!
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Thank you. I do need Comp 2. The school I got my AA from required 6 credits in English including Comp 1. So I took a World Lit class for the 2nd English class I needed. Would I be pretty safe to go ahead and start that with Straighterline? Would that be accepted by both Charter Oak and Thomas Edison?
