Here it is the day before the election and I have to make a decision. I have been voting in every election since 1972 when I was first allowed. I remember being very involved in previous elections just through classroom votes. Many years I have been unhappy with the choices and had to vote for who I thought was the lesser of the two evils. I have even voted 3rd party once or twice when I felt it was a safe way to voice my discontent. This election has people who have never been the least bit interested in the past watching every debate. My friend who usually finds the evening news to depressing is glued to her set now. People who have told me "I'm not smart enough to decide" are paying attention so they can decide.
Personnally I am disappointed that enough americans who are so disgusted with the current choices couldn't come together and produce a viable 3rd party candidate.
I have heard lots of people tell me who they will vote for, but I can't remember one person telling me why they like their candidate, what they tell me is why you would have to be crazy to vote for the other candidate. The winner of this election will not be the person most people like he will be the person less people hated. I find that a sad commentary on our next president.
