I have a so-so grasp of Civil War. I can't start studying until late Friday night and the exam is scheduled for Monday (assume can't reschedule).
Has anyone received an A in civil war with just 2 days to study?
Anyone received an A with just instacert?
Thanks!

I got a 55 with 3 days of instacert and watching Ken Burns Civil War all in one weekend before testing on a Monday. (I was actually watching the DVDs while going through the flashcards!) So I would say with some prior knowledge of the Civil War it's doable. I also took Money and Banking the same day so maybe I could have scored higher if I hadn't had so many unrelated facts swimming around my head on two totally different subjects. (Of course I'm going to take calculus and American literature both on Tuesday, so I guess I never learn!)

I think with just two days of study, getting an A would be a challenge. In the end it comes down to studying the right information and how well you memorize/retain information. If you can't reschedule, then I guess you just have to do your best. I think I would need longer though. Good Luck!

The Ken Burns film will be on PBS this Sunday all day, I do not know where you are located but I plan to watch all day and take notes. (this must be the 12th time I watched it)
This time is serious though, if I get confident I'll sign up for the test next week, any feedback will be appreciated.

Unfortunately Ken Burns isn't on PBS this Sunday in my area. I would have preferred it to videotapes from the library. Oh well.

While it took me more than 2 days to listen to it, I finished it in 2 weeks at the gym, and hit IC for a few hours and scored a "B" without much thought. The Series was by Shelby Foote I think and was a 55 meg download. I joined thier monthly service for 23 bucks and get 2 audio books a month. This civil war one would have cost 40 bucks soooo... I am doing the same thing with the Vango notes audio books on Psych and Socialogy.
Good luck and go for it!
