You only need an associates degree to get in. If I only had an AA I would seriously consider this.

Unfortunately, Pierpont's Associate of Applied Science degree does not seem to meet the educational requirements.

I've been looking, are there anymore 100% online law degrees? Recently at a holiday gathering, my cousin's daughter said she has been looking for one but has been unsuccessful. Her undergrad is in Cyber Security. She wants to get a degree in Law now.

many options if she wants to practice in-state in California!
Much more limited (but not non-existent) if she wants to practice elsewhere. ABA is just starting to open up to 100% online, but they are still very much leaning towards hybrid models.
ABA 100% online and hybrid still come with traditionally high, questionable ROI tuition costs -- whereas California state bar accredited (or state-approved non-accredited) options are bringing down tuition costs. The juggling act revolves around utility. It'll be very difficult to transfer a state bar/non-accredited law degree outside of CA (generally it will require a few years of practicing in CA in good standing, and even then many states will still not accept a non-ABA degree even after years of practice and good standing -- you really need to do research on your target end state's regulations).

According to them "Applied Science degree are considered vocational degrees and do not satisfy the California Bar’s eligibility requirements."
Would an Associate of Science from a NA institution meet the criteria?

No.
Their admission page specifies regionally accredited,
Quote:2. Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from a U.S. regionally-accredited or state-approved college or university;
This is a CalBar requirement, so the school won't give leeway here. One could apply as a Special Status student with some CLEP credit, but I wouldn't reccomend it because you'd be stuck with the Baby Bar exam after year 1. Quicker and probably similar cost to just knock out a quick RA associate or bachelor somewhere that would accept many of your NA credits.

I believe it's referring to a California status here the school is in the process of ra accreditation, so they approved by the state as long as they get accredited within x amount of years. Ironically, neither RA nor NA accredited (so it's silly that they wouldn't accept NA -- but like I said, it's a calbar issue and not a school issue)

You forgot to mention the most important part of that, the ABA accredited status.
"The Hawaiʻi Online JD Flex is one of the few 100% online, part-time, ABA-accredited JD programs at a nationally ranked law school."

Wow! Praying the best for St. Mary's Law School, and their cohorts.
I cannot understand the inclination towards online law school. Law school is notoriously difficult. Why the desire to make it more difficult by choosing to pursue a more difficult path?
