Here's the latest...I just received notice that strategic management had been approved. So does this change anything or do I need to pick an additional tecep now to satisfy?

Search this site or ask in a new thread which of those TECEPs people have experience with. The Operations Management TECEP has instacert flashcards you can use. I took and passed that TECEP. I studied using the suggested OM textbook and also using testbank questions to practice.
I hear Psych of Women is pretty easy. Take the required ones up there and the remaining TECEPs can basically be filled with ones you like until you get 24 resident credits.

These three exams overlap quite a bit:
Marketing Communications (MAR-321-TE)
Sales Management (MAR-322-TE)
Advertising (MAR-323-TE)
I'd recommend studying for Advertising then Marketing Comm. Sales Mgmt is very doable as well. I haven't taken the other two exams you listed.
Currently studying for: Still deciding.
Done!

The seperation and bullet points did not carry over so I assume i have to take one from the group below and then each individual course listed and then two from the bottom list? Anyone know how my list changes now that I have atrategic management satisfied? I assume I need the 5 below now instead of 6 then any 3 random teceps? Where is a good place to go now to learn more on the teceps and lastly do i need to register or do anything else with the school or just sign up for my first tecep when im ready?

You're on the right track.
TECEPs are basically considered courses in TESC and you have to register for them like classes and take them by the end of the quarter. So you will need to find the teceps you want to take and register for them. Since you can register for a new one every month, if you start out registering for two now, this will give you time to get your feet wet, study, do a practice exam and then take the test. If you stagger them, you can be done really quick, so long as you pass the exams.

I guess I should do them in the times when I have a break from my CFP course...for example I have until mid november on break for the current CFP course that I am in. should I just make my through the top of the list and work down or start with the ones previously recommended marketing and advertising?
where do I learn what material I should have for each exam or the recommended study guide? I need to go on the hunt now for threads specific to the teceps I need to take.

The bad thing about registering for TECEP's is that you have a window in which to register for the next term (currently, you have from now until 10/10 to register for the November term, which starts 11/2). I'm not sure why they do this (this is not just for TECEP's, it's for all courses - I just took a cc course that lets you register up through the date the class starts, why can't TESC do that??). So you kind of have to plan ahead for your TECEP's.
Regarding the study material, the TECEP page has a link to every TECEP, and if you click on it, you can get the description of the exam, which includes the textbook they've based the material on. The good news - the outline is very exacting to the material covered. And, the textbooks are usually a past edition of the textbook, saving you hundreds of dollars. I have been able to find the correct edition of every TECEP exam I need to take for less than $10 used on Amazon or another used textbook website.
The other good thing - you can order the textbook and start studying even if you aren't able to register or it's before your term starts. So, you could potentially study ahead of time and be ready to take the exam on day 1 of the term (although I think you can register with ProctorU to take it, but have to give them several days notice). But, you can still take the test very early on in the term if you're ready.
