Oh no. Purdue alumni are VERY vocal about PUG grads are not Purdue grads. They are still freaking out about it. PUG itself makes the distinction to students as well.

No they aren't. While both schools are part of the Purdue University System, they are separate universities. Graduating from PUG does not make you a PU alum, it makes you a PUG alum.
