You're putting words in my mouth, which is further proof that you're just baiting people. My statement was that GPA, test scores, and letters of recommendation count way more than your school of choice. Now you're saying that I said that tests don't matter at all? You completely made that up. I said tests are not a good predictor of college success; that's why more and more colleges are dropping the SAT. I've taken statistics at the masters and doctoral-level. My understanding is just fine.
You didn't successfully argue anything. You completely missed the points of my posts. This is not about comparing Excelsior to Harvard; this is about comparing Excelsior to similar schools. How come you can't understand that? I don't have a problem with different methods; I have a problem with sweeping generalizations and statements meant to elicit negative reactions. Much of this thread is you bashing the Big 3. D you expect people to respond positively when you insult their school of choice for ridiculous reasons? Bain4weeks hasn't been updated since 2008. How could I not understand how the process works when I've been in the process at all three schools?
Your assertion that the salaries for Excelsior are exaggerated and accurate does not make any sense. The salary clearly says it's for mid-career! Even if there was an unfair comparison, it would not make their numbers exaggerated or inaccurate; it would just make the comparison unfair. However, Excelsior with its "lame name" is being compared to COSC and TESC, not the Ivy Leagues you keep injecting into this conversation.
