USA is $30 per exam
UWF is $25 per exam

Both are very friendly and very helpful. You have to call ahead for both colleges to schedule and start the process.

FL was extremely helpful over email and through the whole process. They would go out of the way regarding time constraints and travel with a long window of opportunity to take exams. They only have one testing machine, and they are a much smaller facility that gives priority to their own students. However, they were rarely testing whenever I went. They accept payment online, and you are good to go. They stated no outside bags, but they were not strict about it. https://uwf.edu/academic-engagement-and-...s-offered/

I used USA for a long time, and they were wonderful. They are busy, and have room for 4 to test at the same time. You have to arrive early to give all personal information and be ready to start at your registered time. However, a few months before and during COVID, USA was prone to close down often for unknown reasons not related to COVID?? The main lady has won all kinds of awards from CLEP and the college, and she has given the exams forever. She is very knowledgeable and business like She knows a ton of information especially regarding CLEP and what is worth taking for USA and elsewhere. Just recently they started online payments. https://www.southalabama.edu/departments.../clep.html

To receive ACE-endorsed credits for the Microsoft MTA exams, testing must be done through Pearson Certiport. Pearson's other testing brand, PearsonVUE, is not covered by the ACE reviews for some Microsoft certifications.

Certiport does not have very many authorized testing centers. At this time, there are none in my state. Right now, due to the pandemic, Certiport is temporarily offering an Exams from Home option. The website only documents instructions for educational institutions to register their own candidates. However, thanks to Certiport support, I discovered how to utilize this option as an unaffiliated individual. Unlike most remote proctoring systems, which use a proctoring service, test takers must find an authorized organization to sponsor and proctor their exam. This process is not intuitive or documented anywhere, so I've described it below.

First, you'll need a Certiport voucher for the exam. Buy one at https://shop.certiport.com/Default.asp or any other source. Then, go to your Certiport portal. Make an account if you don't already have one. Set the password to something memorable because you'll need to remember it when logging in to the exam. Take the voucher code that you purchased, and assign it to yourself using the box near the bottom of the main portal screen. This voucher will then be ready and waiting for you when you sign in to the exam from home.

Next, you'll need to find a Certiport authorized testing center willing to proctor outside individuals remotely. I emailed several centers I found via the locator. Several responded right away, offering to work with me. In the end, I selected IT Expert System in Northern Illinois.
Here are the steps to register and take a Certiport exam from home with ITEXPS:
Email info@itexps.com and request their upcoming slots for Certiport Exams from Home. Include your name and the specific exam you want. Someone should reply to you soon with a list of sessions with openings. Pick one, and head over to the payment page. Pay the proctoring fee ($30.90 weekday, $41.20 weekend), and include your personal/exam details in the notes as instructed. After paying, you'll receive an enrollment number on the payment screen. Respond to the staff email from earlier with your selected slot, enrollment number, and a picture of the front of your photo ID. They'll reply with confirmation and test instructions.

Fifteen minutes before the scheduled slot, the proctor sends a link to your email. This link will not be active until the beginning of your exam timeslot. Clicking it will open a remote session to the proctoring center's computer within your browser. Be sure to make the browser window full screen, so it works correctly. The proctor will check you in, and then you'll sign in to your Certiport account and select the voucher you assigned earlier. After that, you'll take the exam using the software on the remote computer. There is quite a bit of jank and control weirdness due to the remote application system. Despite that, my exam worked well enough. At the end, you'll get to review your score report. My results were instantly reported to Certiport.

I would definitely recommend IT Expert System to anyone looking to take a Certiport Exam from home. They were great to work with, responded to my emails right away, and handled everything smoothly and efficiently. I did not have to wait at all when starting or finishing my exam.

You have to go onto their website and spend $25 for a proctor fee but first you have to go to the College Board website to buy your CLEP test. You'll be prompted for the CLEP College Board confirmation number while paying for your proctoring at Lakeland. The staff member to speak with at Lakeland is Terry Cardisco (440-525-7568). She is easy to communicate with and to work with. The Lakeland website says you have to schedule 3 days ahead, but Terry has let me come in the same day as I scheduled without charging any extra fees. Plan some extra time for parking because it's confusing, but at least you don't have to pay for it.

I have taken 2 DSST exams so far here and since I am not military, I have limited options of where I can test. This site is located on a sprawling college campus in the Atrium building. It is a moderate walk from the parking lot, up a hill and up about 30 steps to enter the building. Parking is free. Once you catch your breath and make it to room 122, it is safe, air conditioned, clean, quiet, well maintained and monitored by two proctors. The computers are fast and new. The testing area is a big room with no dividers with about 20 computers for various testing. You have to lock up your bags and cell phone. No drinks or food allowed.

The biggest downside is you can only take 1 test per day and they don't have testing everyday. NO matter how fast you finish a test, they won't let you begin another one. I politely complained, but they claim they don't know if you will run into the next test session. They charge $30. The staff is on the older side, so expect to have to wait to be served if it is busy. They do try hard and mean well.

I prefer this site over NYC, because of tolls, parking and traffic. Again, my choices are limited, but until something closer in North NJ opens, I will keep going to this site taking 1 test per visit

Review: This is a good test center for the area, however it is expensive. I was able to take two tests in one day and only pay the $40 once, but it's not standard practice. Online registration available here, and must have photo ID and copy of CLEP exam ticket. Testing for CLEP & DSST are limited to twice a week at present. They have over a dozen computers for testing with a good mix of tests being offered (CLEP, DSST, PRAXIS, WGU, Basic Skills, Etc,) but the site will fill up, and so will the parking lots. The computers worked fine and it was a relaxed environment, I have taken 3 CLEP and 2 DSST. They have lockers as well. Overall, I recommend the center.

This was pretty much my one stop shop for my WGU degree. I took all my CLEP, DSST and CompTIA exams here. They're open on Saturdays, which was really handy. They also have online scheduling, which is really helpful. It was getting to the point where they knew me by first name by the end of my degree. Very friendly staff and relatively cheap sitting fees.

Test Center Admin Fee: $33.50 per CLEP test & 83.50 for DSST exams
Admin Name: Cathy was super accommodating

Review:
Really friendly test staff that were pleasant to deal with. This center only publically offers tests one day a month, but as soon as I completed my first DSST exam I was told that if I needed to take a test on an unavailable day to contact Cathy directly, YMMV. This center has a restricted parking lot so if you decide to test here make sure you get a parking pass as soon as you check in. The DSST exam fee is quite high for this center, but it's one of the few places in the state that actually offers these exams (the official DSST testing location site is way out of date).

P.S. I'm fairly tall and have big feet. Under each test desk was a standard surge protector. It is very easy to knock the power off on your or you neighbors computer so keep that in mind.

Really painless test center. I was allowed to start to test early on all three occasions. Location is very relaxed and I've never had a problem with parking. Lockers are available to store belongings during the test, although they aren't big enough for a medium-size bag so keep that in mind if you're like me and carry a backpack everywhere. Would use this site if I have another need to take a CLEP test.
