Does not explain how many credits you can transfer in.. for some people can be a good option if they want a Associate and are not in the US.

Here's their catalog: https://tocc.edu/wp-content/uploads/2024...0-2024.pdf

A maximum of 75% of credits from
accredited institutions can be accepted toward the certificate or degree; i.e., 25% of the credits that
count toward a certificate or degree must be taken at TOCC

Students can earn college credit based on examination or evaluation of prior learning by submitting
official records of their performance to the Director of Admissions and Records.
Opportunities for credit by examination or evaluation include:
● Advanced Placement examinations from high school (AP);
● College Level Examination Program (CLEP) results;
● Special examination for credit (e.g., Tohono O’odham Language fluency may be established by
examination)

Advanced Placement (AP) Credits
Taking Advanced Placement courses in high school can accelerate a college career. At TOCC, a student
can earn up to 30 credits toward a degree by passing examinations at the end of AP classes.

College-Level Examination Program
TOCC accepts for college credit the passing scores for both the general and subject examinations of the
College-Level Examination Program (CLEP).

Has anyone recently taken courses here? I am surprised how seldom this is mentioned

Note they are a MyPath2ASU partner, meaning it's easier to figure out transfer strategies to Arizona State. So this combined with a Starbucks or Uber free ASU tuition benefit could be beneficial for some.

Ok I just got an email back from an advisor

1. Do you accept ACE-recommended credits from Sophia.org or Study.com toward the AAS-CIS degree? -
We do not accept ACE, Sophia, etc credits

2. How many transfer credits can be applied toward the AAS-CIS program, and are there specific residency course requirements?
TOCC requires students to complete 25% of their degree here.
For the AASCIS program, that would be 9.00 credits. TOCCs
transfer credit policy includes rules on dated coursework;
anything considered Core or Elective have an 8 year expiration
from the time of graduation. To clarify, if I was set to graduate
Spring 2026 my Core and Electives must've been taken 2018
forward.

3. I hold CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. Can these be evaluated for Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) to satisfy CIS 100, CIS 130, and CIS 140?
TOCC does not offer CPL at this time.

4. Is the entire AAS-CIS program available fully online? Thank you -
Yes, the entire AASCIS program can be completed online
