ACE Credit Registry Change? Transcripts Services Ending

I discovered this situation this morning as I was planning to send transcripts to TESU. I believe recent ones I completed in november have given me the appropriate Acclaim badge. I have gone through the sending transcript process with Acclaim, we'll see what happens!

I am so glad I sent in my transcripts weeks ago before proceeding to do more. Good grief! Acclaim while it's a much better/modern transcript system, is nowhere near ready. We need access to our courses, or an option to add our past things and ACE can approve it for the providers for now

I called Sophia because I'd forgotten to order a transcript from ACE in time.

I need to have those Sophia transcripts processed, but the man I spoke to on the phone at Sophia said there is supposed to be a "legacy" process for older ACE classes. He seemed to believe the classes I took aren't going to end up at Credly.

So I would say that nobody seems ready yet. :-( This will be fun.

EDIT: I was not ready, either. It has been a hectic week.

Looks like for us mice, they changed the maze once again.

Yet another example of why you want to finish school as fast as possible and transfer in your credits as fast as possible.

In my situation, all I have left is study.com courses, so I should be ok.

They told me in text chat this morning that as of today, we can only get Acclaim badges for Sophia classes completed since 11-4-20.

They said that they are working on resolving a technical issue to permit us to obtain Acclaim badges & credit for earlier classes.

For anyone who is under the gun and needs a transcript including earlier classes right away, I'd suggest you open a chat request on Sophia and ask that they put in a ticket to add the courses manually.

That's what I did, we'll see how it goes.

CMSLearn was added instantly so now I'm waiting on Sophia and SL.

I'm not worried if I lose The Institutes course since I took Ethics at Sophia just for fun.

It's all gone now. If you didn't save a personal copy for reference, the unfortunate reality is that you're not going to be able to tell which courses you completed and are now missing from your Acclaim account. Acclaim is the only way to get ACE credits now.

I just got off the phone with Sophia. They said they have to manually add ALL classes completed before 11/4/2020. So you have to call them on the phone and ask them to do it for you.

They told me that they entered the information. It has not shown up in Acclaim quite yet.

I was told before they will automatically be converted to an acclaim account and we don’t need to do anything.
