What does a college diploma from COSC look like?

CollegeStudent7 Wrote:Thanks Burbuja. I just read your signature and I can't believe that in just over 8 months time you have gone from having 24 B&M credits and are now at 115 credits! AMAZING!!!! How many initial credits did you attempt to transfer to COSC to start with? Was there a specific reason you decided to go with COSC instead of the other 2 places? GO YOU! I cannot believe you're just 5 credits away from having your BS Business Admin. !!! Smile

Thank you!! I don't remember what I tried to initially transfer to COSC. I'm pretty sure that they took all of my B&M credits. They even took a D that I had in Chemistry, lol not good for my GPA but so happy that I don't have to re-do those science credits.

I chose COSC because my younger brother is a COSC graduate from years ago. He discovered the bain4weeks.com site, which described the concept of testing out of a degree. I don't think I would have had the guts to do it without knowing anyone that had done it, so I'm glad he paved the way. BTW, he's been extremely successful and after getting his masters is now working on his doctorate.

...Anyhow, I was terrified when I first started testing and just wanted to go with a known. COSC was familiar because of my brother, so I paid the enrollment fee and began my journey. The other benefit is that the business admin concentration math for COSC is much easier than TESC. I am not sure if I could pass pre-calc, so really happy with COSC.

I also was upset that I had to do a capstone with COSC, but now that I'm in it, I am very glad. I want to do an online MBA so the experience with online classwork is invaluable. I'm not sure that it's wise to do your first online class at the graduate level.

Any of the big 3 can be great choices. I'm totally sold on testing out of as many credits as you can. College is expensive and if you can do it quicker/cheaper, it gives you a huge advantage!

P.S. I take my Labor Relations ECE on Tuesday (so scared - wish me luck!!!). If I pass, that puts me at 118 credits. Smile On May 7, my capstone is done and that's it!!!!
