I can't talk about EC because I haven't looked into it at all, but I am enrolled at COSC and DH is going to enroll at TESC once he has a few more credits under his belt, so I am familiar with both of those.
TESC will cost $2800 to enroll. It's a one time fee with no payment options and depending on your major, you are not required to take any classes. Currently, their capstone is still just "strongly recommended", not required.
COSC costs $1500 to enroll, but unlike TESC, you can choose to pay them in 3 or 4 months. However, they do have a capstone requirement, and I think they've also added a cornerstone class since I enrolled. I'm not totally sure about that since it doesn't apply to me. COSC costs $275 per credit hour. So, Overall, COSC could be more expensive, but you don't have to pay everything at once, so depending on your budgeting style, it might be a little easier to swallow.
HTH.. would love to see an EC cost breakdown.
Edit to add TESC cost breakdown. So, if you do plan on taking classes at TESC, looks like $193 per credit Thomas Edison State College | Enrolled Options Plan
