Can it be applied to electives? Gen Ed? How committed are you to Psych as a major? There are lots of ways to meet your goals -- I encourage you to squeeze out as much prior credit as you can.
That kind of thoroughness is admirable and will serve you well in your degree journey. I'll bet you a nickel though that you will map your degree more than once...and you can start on things like social science and humanities exams before you are "sure".
