TESC sounds like "we'll name our "school" after some famous dead guy to give it credibility." It has a feel to me like something you might find at the back of a comic book. [All this about names is relatively unimportant in the scheme of things, but TESC between the name and its policy of taking lower-level credit to satisfy upper-level requirements dropped off the list early] The only one that doesn't sound off to me is Charter Oak. I wanted a major, plus EC had enough easily accessible free info to plan my degree without any help from them (and before I found this forum), so they won, weird name, garish website and all.
