Masters Degree Help
#12
Yeah, I was just looking over the requirements... 30 hours of residency for a 36 hour degree is kinda heavy handed... Its almost silly. It almost sounds like the big colleges in the state have a bit of hand in the regulations...

There's no local schools with online classes for you that would be able to cover the 30 hours in a timely and cost effective manner?

Due to the regulations of OK, I realize I'll never be a psychologist in this state, unless I end up moving out, getting licensed and practice in another state that has a reciprocation agreement, and moving back... That's too much work.

I figure after my MA in Experimental Psychology, I can either get grad certs to fulfill the rest of what I need for my 60 LPC credit requirement, or do a Psych doctoral program at a place like Northcentral to get the credits and a handy Doctor title (that I'll have to have a disclaimer running every time I use it: I'm not a licensed psychologist nor do I play one on TV nor am I a medical doctor of any sort, but I got this piece of paper that lets you call me Dr. That'll be $300 for this visit.)
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully
