Have you considered going to an educational testing firm, and being tested to see if you have dyscalculia, which is the learning disability for math? If you do, they will provide you with a written report, which can be submitted to your school. Your school will then have the means with which to allow you to take a lower-level math course, or to obtain a waiver for the math requirement. If you decide to go this route, be very sure that you are tested by a creditable testing agency, or the report will not meet the appropriate standards for acceptance by your school.
