I am hating ALEKS right now.

I do not recommend trying to use it on a Linux based operating system.

I just got this to work with mandriva 2010 Big Grin

It did take me a while. But the sites I used were.
Downloads - Manual Installation This is somewhat helpful.
Download Java software for Linux from Sun Microsystems there is an instruction page.
ALEKS will work on Ubuntu - Ubuntu Forums This thread was very helpful. You have to pay attention to the file names!!! they probably will not be the same in the directions.

The only (sort of) problem I have is I'm not able to use the 10key, but i can use everything else.
