In no way did I feel that the questions on the exams were purposely tricky, or involve game playing. They were straightforward. I would tell your daughter to expect essay questions about KEY points in a chapter, not some less important minutia.
The multiple choice questions amounted to slightly less than 50% of your total score. The essay questions slightly more than 50%. This format works in the favor of the student. As with answering any essay questions, try and give lengthy answers. They only allow room for a couple of long paragraphs, so if you drone for about as long as this answer, you will be good to go.
