Yes, it will feel this good when you are done too! I completed 91 credits through testing in 6 months: I began in August '09 - had to take a forced break through Sept, - and ended yesterday, March 2, '10. I COULD NOT have done this without InstantCert. I will keep spreading the word about this site, and hope that you do as well.
I completed 3 years of college in the 80's as a Psych Major up in Humboldt County, California. All these years later, only about a years worth of credits transferred to me (long story), so I had to find a way to zip through my Sophmore/Junior/Senior year of college fast and relatively inexpensively. My goal is to get my MA and likely my Phd. in Psych.
This self-study process is great for someone like me. I was always ahead of the class in college, which is one of the many reasons I dropped out before graduation.
I recommend that folks new to this process plot out a clear path to their goal along with a timeline. I suggest that you get help from the college you will be graduating from early on in the process because otherwise you may take a test/study for the wrong test, and not take advantage of something like taking the GRE to test out of many required classes. All of these things happened to me along my way, but I still kept my eye on the prize, and I MADE IT!
Whooooo-Hoooooo!!!!!
I can't tell you how great it feels to wake up this morning and not have to study or take a test in between taking care of family, relationships, running my business, working out, etc. I feel like things got shoved to the back burner and now I need to focus back on health/fitness, business/finances, realtionships, writing.
I hope that all who use this forum give back as much as possible. Pay it forward - it only makes sense.
Thank you to anyone and everyone who came before me and helped pave the way. I couldn't have done it without you.
