soupbone Wrote:Well last night I decided to open up a Peterson's exam since I was doing so good in my studies. I'm grasping concepts that I remember from 2006 and steadily rolling along. I look at the first question and it's nothing I recognize from my current studies OR my studies from 2006. It concerned me a bit but I shrugged it off and moved to the next question. The next question was the same.....then the next....and so on through question number 5. Needless to say I'm frustrated and disappointed so far...I'm not sure if Peterson's is just well beyond the actual difficulty of this test or I am in need of some serious readjustment to my studies. :ack:
Hi Soupbone!
Have you looked at the Natural Science material in Petersons CLEP Success book? http://www.petersons.com/pdf/free/CLEPSuccess.pdf - has review/teaching material for each subject and multiple practice tests
Petersonâs practice tests â The printable test is different than the online tests, so there are a total of 4 tests available. The printable test was similar to the REA tests and the online tests were much harder; however, the material covered was useful for the real exam. I would recommend working through the CLEP Success materials first. That should help with these more difficult practice tests.
I posted my feedback for Natural Science here (just scroll down past Biology):

I have taken Astronomy and Chemistry, too. You can check my feedback (above Biology) for any more resources that might help you.
My very best wishes on your exam!
