@ Cookderosa - Thanks but I've actually already browsed through pages 106 & 107 of the academic catalog. I just wanted to know if, like Croc asked, the World Religions DSST corresponds to a 400-level course? Also, since I'm interested in the BA of Liberal Studies if the Principles of Management CLEP can be used to satisfy the concentration credits since it's a business course (I'm not sure if Business is an acceptable subject for the 33-concentration credits). Again, thanks a ton for the info!
Ok, I understand. Whatever TESC has for the CLEP's alpha-numeric, that's the level in hundreds. So, for example, CLEP English Comp w/essay is equal to ENG101 and ENG102, so they are 100 level. Just use the first number- and that's the level. (221 is two hundred level, 365 is three hundred, etc) It's worth mentioning that a class starting with 0 is not considered 100 level and won't count. You'll see this in community colleges a lot (example MAT085 wouldn't be considred credit toward a degree)
****VOID****For your major- if they list a class as ABC200, then it's "upper level" because at TESC, anything 200 or above (200-499) is upper level and can be used inside your liberal studies major. *****VOID*****
No on management being liberal studies- you are correct in that it is business.
Read the link in my siggy about doing your own unofficial evaluation, you should find it pretty helpful.
I'm updating this because of the new policy change! TESC does now have 300/400 upper level. I suspect you knew that which is what prompted your question lol, but I just found this out today!! Hope this wasn't confusing to you.
