Do a search here on Straighterline. It's $99 for one month, and you should be able to get through at least one class in that month. Get approval from your EC advisor, take Straighterline's English Composition I class (ACE reviewed, but not transferable except to their four partner schools), enroll at Fort Hays State University (regionally accredited partner school) for $30, transfer the Straighterline credits to Fort Hays, and then send the Fort Hays transcript ($2) to Excelsior. Note: the other three partner schools aren't as flexible about being used to launder the SL credits!
Not only will you fulfill the written English requirement, you'll fulfill it with graded credit from an RA college. As long as you're at Straighterline, take their College Algebra class to take care of EC's quantitative reasoning requirement.
