Flashcards are a way of learning if you have some exposure to the background material. You may need to read about the subject first.

In your case, I would try the REA books to get the background, then take the included practice tests. When you are all done with REA, use the IC resources. I find flashcards to be a very choppy way to learn, since they do not flow like a book.

You may also need a lesson in test taking strategy. This is very important! I know people that can walk into almost any multiple choice test and pass, since they know how to analyze the answers. There are often non-sensical answers that you can rule out, and other techniques.

Keep working at it until you figure out what you are doing wrong. Maybe you can find a friend or family member that knows the subject material to help you figure out where you keep having trouble. Your trouble MAY NOT be with the subject material, and may be with technique.

By the way, I have mostly As and Bs on the tests that I have taken, and I typically don't know what 25% of the questions are talking about. In most of those questions I find answers that I know are from some other question, or just distractor answers. I have received a number of Bs on tests that I swore I would fail.
