Thank you for confirming this. I didn’t want to read too much into their policies. That is great news that 12 credits are available for this. I didn’t realize that Statistics is counted separately and I can get 3 more credits.
[Update: Statistics does count as math, but it does not count toward the 3 courses below calculus policy. Statistics through ALEKS counts as upper-level credit, and can be used to fulfill a depth in math.]
[Update: College Math CLEP (6 credits) counts as 2 courses below the level of Calculus. Three levels of math through ALEKS (9 LL credits) plus Statistics through ALEKS (3 UL credits) would be the least expensive way to complete a depth in Math.]
Are you considering a Math major at Excelsior? I am planning to pursue it through the Math GRE.
