I asked Excelsior for an approval for Info Lit from Penn Foster and they wrote me basically saying that an advisor will approve the credit "ONCE" the transcript is received from Penn Foster, and that "ALMOST ALWAYS" Penn Fosters Information Literacy Course is accepted. So am I supposed to just assume that they WILL or ARE accepting PF info lit?? I hope so because I called PF today and ordered the course:eek:
You know when I was getting approvals for clep they would say "most certainly we accept that clep course, good luck and we'll update your status as soon as we get your score" I mean I could almost hear the hilarious as I read the response. But this time I heard
[COLOR="Purple"]Allllllrighty then, I received my book Jan 30, did the exams that midnight when I finally had a chance to sit down and flip thru the pages. The exam looked pretty simple, actually unbelievibly easy that I'm sure my 10 year old could do it! It took me less than an hour to complete (it is not timed) and submit my answers. I ended up missing 4 on test one and 100% correct on test two. So I get a 90 total. Just like that! I came back here just to let anyone in the future reading this who may have any doubts about this elementary waste of time class that you might as well get it out of the way, do it through Penn Foster and save yourself 210$ From what I understand by reading TIMCOINC's response to mine is that you can even access the test after paying for it through Penn F website student services page and do the exam before you even get the book! Just a thought. Good Luck All, tootoleloo!!
