I can see that I am not crazy in my assumptions.
A few months ago I took the new "Here's to your Health" exam which was very, very difficult. In fact, about 10 minutes into the exam I actually had to look up at the heading at the top of the computer screen to make sure I was taking the correct exam and not some other health related exam.
I wound up passing with a 404 out of 400. And this exam had the reputation for being one of the easier exams.
Looks like we all have to buck up out there.
