ok back on topic. I googled the algebrator and came up with this web address which said the algebrator 4 (which is their newest version now with logarithms and easier interface) was $39.99 from their website when it's regularly like 74.99. I thought maybe I'd gotten a clone sight or something so I emailed them at the main site and they said they run specials for those who use google to find them...the special isn't accessible from inside the site, so to speak.
