Wow, that’s a remarkably bad video.  The guy literally cited Trump’s executive order as the reason why Trump’s executive order is right. He tried to pass it off as being from the Ark decision, but it isn’t. It also is VERY clear that he hasn’t actually read the Ark decision, based on a number of things he says, just the syllabus (the summary).

I agree with you that the YouTube video and the Ark decision didn't make the case for denying birthright citizenship to illegal immigrants or people on temporary visas. 

There are some exceptions to the birthright citizenship

• Native Americans born in tribal nations  (Indian Citizenship Act of 1924)
  
• Children of Diplomats
  
• Children born to enemy forces in hostile occupation
  

Supreme Court Precedent: United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898)

This case definitively established that the 14th Amendment guarantees birthright citizenship to children born in the U.S., even if their parents are not U.S. citizens.
