A moderator, not me but I get why they did it, deleted both your and another poster's recent post in this thread.
When a debate is becoming personal between members, we sometimes roll back the debate to a time before it was personal. Each post that is deleted in the rollback is not necessarily objectionable. I've had my own posts deleted in such a rollback (then not long thereafter I became a moderator, so it wasn't a mark against me).
You are welcome to criticize even harshly political parties, public figures, etc.
People will sing Neil Young's songs around campfires generations from now.
Welcome Republicans to having a talk show host and sports figures on your side! But don't count on too much from it.
