All colleges list their admissions requirements on their websites. So you'll see what programs require academic letters of recommendation. There are many programs who do not require them.

Should have clarified a bit more, I'm worried more that they won't accept my 70 or so ace credit I got through Sophia.

Any program you're interested in, I would confirm with admissions that the ACE undergrad credits would be acceptable before you apply.
