From what I understand, a Montessori education seems to be especially beneficial for entrepreneurs and artists.
However, there can be both good and bad Montessori schools, and anyone can use the Montessori name without accountability.
The Montessori philosophy actively encourages children to figure things out on their own, without relying on adults for everything. This approach helps prevent learned helplessness in students.
Most of the people on that list were from wealthy families who supported their endeavors. It is hard to make those types of conclusions based on such a biased sample. Children from wealthy families are disproportionately successful in areas like art and entrepreneurship even if they go to traditional schools.
As is, it is a school system only accessible to the wealthy, and I dont see Elon changing that.
That's why this topic is being discussed, sincethere aren't many studies to draw hard conclusions.
I don't know how you define wealthy, but a middle-class family with a combined income of $100,000 per year, which is the average salary for college graduates, can afford Montessori schooling with the help of vouchers, which average $7,000 per year.
