Well, I applied I think originally in March. At that time I sat down with an adviser at Fort Hood and the EC rep there gave me an informal "evaluation." I gave her all my official transcripts and we sent all that off to EC for the "official evaluation."
I received the official evaluation about 5 weeks later. From that point on I was free to enroll in courses and/or transfer in new CLEP/DSST or ECE results. It's been pretty painless. When you get the official eval it will show you exactly what classes they transferred, how many credits they awarded you and what classes you will need to complete to graduate. Every time I added new CLEP exam transcripts they automatically updated my degree progress/status online. It was a good experience.
Keep in mind that from the time you complete all your degree requirements to the time they confer your degree is about 3 months. For instance, my degree req's will be done Dec. 15, but I won't get conferred with my B.S.L. until Feb. 20, 2009.
