At my grad school, they used Turnitin, which gave a similarity score. Turnitin sucks, it sees references, block quotes, and sometimes random 2word combinations as plagiarism, so I wouldn’t stress too much about it as professors know this.
TESU used something different, don’t remember the name, but it was equally bad.
Most schools have dumped AI detectors because the false positive rate was enormously high and also falsely flagged non-native speakers.
