Possible TESU BACS + BS CIS/BSBA Finance Advice
#1
Your Location: IN, USA

Your Age: 24

What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelor's in CS or CIS.  Considering doing the BACS + BS CIS at TESU.  Maybe swap the BS CIS for the BSBA with a concentration in Finance because CS + CIS may look redundant to someone who doesn't know that CIS is primarily business.

Budget: Not a concern of mine.

Commitments: Full-time job, spending quality time with spouse, taking care of pets.

Dedicated time to study: I am committing to 2 hours a day.  2 hours a day is the minimum I want to be at but I would rather be conservative.  It will likely end up being more than 2 hours a day, but I don't want to base things off of 3 or 4 hours and then life happens and I am disappointed at myself that I didn't finish in the timeframe I thought I would.

Timeline: I want to get this done as fast as possible.  I'm not the most patient individual, so when I want to get something done, I want to get it done ASAP

Tuition assistance/reimbursement: Plan on going out of pocket.

Additional Information: I was going to school for CIS, but ended up leaving to pursue opportunities in sales.  There are a few different reasons that I left school.  There were issues with the military paying for my schooling, so I ended up having to take out loans which I was not happy about.  I also felt that the quality of the education was not very good in regards to the the computer side of the CIS program.

In high school I did a lot of projects as a part of working for the school's technology office, and since I was a fast learner I was able to work on pretty much whatever I wanted.  I built websites, helped develop software, built automated temperature monitoring systems for the cafeteria, built student information kiosks, created multiple video games, etc.  Because I learned so much from these projects, I felt the computer/tech portion of the CIS program wasn't teaching me much and I felt like I was wasting the little money I had.

Because I felt like I was wasting the little money I had as a broke college student, and the fact that I could barely afford my rent, I decided to leave school and get a job as in sales.  I chose sales solely because the money was good, and I have been in sales since.  I don't particularly enjoy sales, but I am good at it and it keeps the bills paid and allows my wife to stay home.

The main reason I am looking into all of this is because I feel like my current work lacks purpose other than paying the bills, and I have so many credits that it feels like my money has gone to waste if I do not finish.  I know that I am capable of a lot more than working a boring sales jobs, and I have always had a passion for computers/tech, so I feel that this path may steer me in the right direction.  So far I have applied for TESU and had my credits evaluated.

Sorry for writing a book, but I just want to provide as much information as possible so I can receive the best feedback to steer me in the right direction before I finalize my decision.

Thanks in advance!
