@colonelcamp, That's right, you can do the UMPI BAS with History & MIS minors, it won't really matter as you're doing this for the 'check the box' plus the option to take the classes you want, such as classes that interest you, or classes towards a subject you want to study more.  The BAS/BLS both have 60 electives you can select from...

Exactly what I understood. The BLS with the minor in Management broke down as 40 gen ed credits, which I'm I'm trying to knock out with just Sophia (which I really like), 18 credits for the Management minor and then 62 electives. I'm sure you guys all know Cliff Stumme; this is what he calls the Chipotle degree approach.  Funny name, but I like the idea of all those electives where I can pick what interests me most, just as you mentioned.

Why not umpi history & political science BA? Sounds like it might take a smidge longer, but you'd probably also enjoy it more.

Another good one too. I'm a few months away from enrolling while I work on Sophia, but that one is definitely on my list. I think it's ok if it takes a little longer. I don't want it to take 2 years, but if it goes an extra semester, that would be fine.
