They don't explicitly mention study.com at all but they do have some partnerships with Straighterline and "totaltesting" but I think they require a letter grade for their nursing program and I don't think you get one with study.com and the like. I appreciate if anyone can give us answers.
We messaged an enrollement "specialist" but she said she will get back to us "in a couple of weeks"
Call and email until you get an adequate response. To my knowledge, yes they do accept SL. I too was skeptical because I did things the old fashioned way, but so many of these programs, including DPT and Pharmacy schools accept ace credits for their sciences. The times, they are a changin'.
I kept a voicemail on my phone from 2 years ago from a TESU nursing program administrator with her clearly stating how they felt (this is THEIR opinion) that SL science courses were more thorough than many of the local community colleges!! And yes, the grade matters. So while you'll certainly be able to complete the prerequisites at a substantial savings, you cannot "zoom" through the classes without suffering hits to your grade (unless of course, you have prior knowledge). Still, call and email to be 100% sure. Additionally, I have been speaking with administrator from the uniformed armed services recently and they now accept sciences with online labs, which is a game changer for me personally. This was not the case 2 years ago. The administrator gave an explanation for the change that could be summarized as:1. Times are changing, 2. Covid taught is that folks coming in with online classes had same knowledge levels as those who took em in person. Something about the "forgetting curve" being the same,(I don't remember exactly but that term was used)
