Dantes tests seem to be worded more...unintuitively. It almost seems sometimes that they're just trying to trick you on the dantes questions as opposed to the more straight forward clep tests. Also, clep is now computer-based whereas dantes is paper-only. Overall though, I think they're of similar difficulty.
