I haven't completed either physics or chemistry yet, so I can't use what-if to predict things. I'll probably just go ahead and ask for a waiver once advising makes some other changes to my degree programs.
I just pulled up an old catalog from 2019 and compared it to the current one - they both use the exact same language. Both state that Physics I with Lab OR Chemistry I with Lab 4 AND Physics II with Lab OR Chemistry II with Lab 4 are required. Hopefully they haven't decided to stop giving out waivers to allow I from chem&physics. Interesting note, neither catalog specifies that both sciences must be from the same field.
