A lot of mainly online colleges have low graduation rates because a lot of people can't handle going to school online. They take a few classes, then drop out.
When people drop out, it isn't because they fail. It is usually because they stopped turning in assignments for whatever reason. People sometimes drop out of WGU because they don't transfer in enough credits, then are shocked at the amount of work they have to do.
Nothing wrong with WGU, it's just not what I expected to be. When I was in their WGU Academy, all I needed was a C to pass. But, when I transferred to their University they required all classes to have B or higher. But when I asked my friends that in their classes at a their local uni, they said they only needed a C- to pass, you could even get a D I heard in some classes. But yeah, there was so many proctor exams and a lot of work, it was overwhelming...
